The module uses the IEEE 802.11ah wireless networking protocol, also known as Wi-Fi HaLow, and operates in the licence-free sub-1 GHz range, allowing users to control IoT devices within a one-kilometre radius. It is a very good addition to QUECTEL's extensive range of Wi-Fi modules in the Wi-Fi4, Wi-Fi5, Wi-Fi6 and Wi-Fi6E range.
The IEEE 802.11ah Wi-Fi standard operates in 850-950MHz bands with 1/2/4/8MHz channel width. The FGH100M offers a maximum output power of 21dBm and a maximum transmission rate of 32.5Mbps.
