Extended Range and Powerful Functions

With support for dual-antenna maximum ratio combining (MRC) and beamforming for transmission (TxBE), the SYN20708 doubles the potential range. The chip includes an integrated transmitter/receiver switch (T/R Switch) but can also be used with external PA/LNA (power amplifiers and low noise amplifiers). The SYN20708 features a powerful Arm® Cortex®-M4 CPU running at 160MHz and includes a high-speed UART interface for connecting to an external host processor.

Why is SYN20708 the Right Choice?

The SYN20708 provides a flexible solution for wireless applications, as it simultaneously supports Bluetooth Classic (BT), BLE, Zigbee®, and Thread. With MRC and beamforming (TxBE) technology, the range is doubled, ensuring stable and extended coverage. The integrated Arm® Cortex®-M4 processor delivers sufficient processing power while maintaining high energy efficiency. With Matter compatibility, the chip is future-proof for smart home and IoT environments. The SYN20708 is as well particularly suitable for wearables, as well as industrial and medical applications that require reliable and scalable wireless communication.
