SUNCON: New Generation of THT Hybrid Capacitors
Further Enhanced Ripple Current Capability of FEF Series
Sun Electronic Industries Corp. (SUNCON) has recently introduced an improved version of its FEF series, one of the two latest high-performance THT hybrid capacitor series of the third generation. The already impressive ripple current capability has been further enhanced, now reaching up to 6Arms at 125°C and 4.5Arms at 135°C, even in compact dimensions of just 10x15mm. The guaranteed lifespan is specified as 4,000 hours across all configurations.

Not only are SMD versions of AI-electrolytic polymer hybrid capacitors highly valued for demanding applications, but THT-mounted devices with space constraints can also benefit from the advantages of these high-performance THT variants. Compared to the best available low-ESR electrolytic capacitors, they offer superior ripple current capability, an extended operating temperature range, and significantly longer lifespan. For the FEC series SUNCON has extended the voltage range to include 6.3V and 10V versions.
