SANYOU Introduces SCP40: Relay for Electric Vehicle Charging Systems
SANYOU presents the new SCP40, a 4-pole AC high-performance relay with mechanically coupled 40A main contacts and an auxiliary contact, also coupled, for function monitoring. These "new energy components" are ideal for use in charging systems for electric vehicles and electrically powered means of transport where high loads need to be switched and managed.
Key Features:
- 4 sets of normally open main contacts (40A) + 1 set of normally closed auxiliary contacts (1A), all mechanically coupled
- When the main contact is bonded, the auxiliary contact meets the safety detection function (according to IEC61810-3).
- Compatible with AC charging stations
- Fulfils the 3kA short-circuit resistance requirement in accordance with IEC62955 (Ip≥1.85kA, I²t≥4.5kA²s)
- Optimised structure, stronger mechanical impact resistance and lower temperature rise
- Main contact gap 3.9mm
- Weigh only 150g
- Hold voltage can be applied to save power loss
