MEMS Microphones Support Hands-Free Calling
The first MEMS microphones from KNOWLES for the automotive market with full AECQ certification are now available for sampling: SPH1878 and SPH9855. They are engineered to a higher standard of quality and supply assurance to support the increasing demands of the automotive market for hands-free calling, advanced voice assistance and in-cabin noise cancellation for passenger comfort.
The microphones follow the AEC-Q100/103 qualification requirements and therefore fit into the growing demand of microphones for use in the harsh automotive environment. The two MEMS mics are both equipped with bottom port holes, the SPH9855 addresses digital port applications and the SPH1878 analog port applications.
