IEEE802.3bt Class 6 (50W) Compliant Module by SILVERTEL
New PD Module Ag596xx-LPB on "Golden Blocks"
The Ag59612-LPB and Ag59624-LPB modules from SILVERTEL are IEEE802.3bt Class 6 (50W) compliant PD modules, providing output voltages of 12V and 24V, respectively. They are particularly attractive when higher power than PoE+ is needed but not the maximum power (85-90W) offered by PoE++. SILVERTEL has consistently continued its strategy of equipping all new PSE and PD modules with "Golden Blocks."
SAMPLESSmaller Than Any Other Module Solution in This Class
Products that exploit the maximum power classified by IEEE802.3bt require large form factor components to deliver such power, while the Ag596xxx-LPB measures only 45x25mm (LxW). Both modules are designed for embedded integration and are exclusively available as SMT modules. To facilitate soldering onto the main board, they are equipped with "Golden Blocks." SILVERTEL has not only succeeded in reducing power loss (with an efficiency of 92-93% for the 12V variant) - which is essential for the deliberately chosen lower power class - but also in reducing the module's footprint. As a result, the Ag596xxx-LPB is smaller than any other module solution in this class.
The modules can deliver the full usable power of 50W over an industrial temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and additionally provide a peak power of 60W. The Ag596xxx-LPB also features over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection. Furthermore, SILVERTEL offers the modules in Tape & Reel (15") with 200 pieces per reel.
