16V Hybrid Capacitors From SUN
High-Capacity for Advanced Performance
SUN Electronic Industries has recently introduced polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors for the lower voltage range. These are versions with a rated voltage of 16V. The advantage of these capacitors is that they achieve higher capacitance values with the same design compared to 25V versions.

These capacitors are not only demanded for automotive applications, but also in the industrial sector or for home automation.
The following is a brief overview:
- FVFP series (125°C/135°C, 4,000h, particular high ripple current capability)
From 3,700mArms @125°C, 20mOhm and 330µF in 8x10.5mm up to 5,900mArms @125°C, 11mOhm and 1,000µF in 10x16.5mm - FVC series (125°C/135°C, 4,000h, extra high capacitance)
From 3,100mArms @125°C, 27mOhm and 560µF in 8x10.5mm up to 5,200mArms @125°C, 11mOhm and 1,800µF in 10x16.5mm
In case a smaller size than 8x10.5mm with 16V is required, there is the option of HVHC (105°C) or HVPC (125°C) series, that are available in 6.3x7.7mm with 220µF.
- HVHC – 105 °C, 2,000mArms, 30mOhm
- HVPC – 125 °C, 1,800mArms, 30mOhm
