TOREX Converters With P-Channel and N-Channel FETs
The XC928x series from TOREX features synchronous step-down DC/DC converters with integrated P-channel and N-channel FETs. These ICs offer high efficiency (typ 92%) and a stable power supply of up to 1.5A. Only a coil and two ceramic capacitors are needed for operation with a quiescent current of just 15μA.
DOWNLOAD DATASHEETSThe input voltage can be as low as 2.5V, and the output voltage can be fixed within a range of 0.8V to 3.6V in 50mV steps (accuracy: ±2.0%). Some versions provide a selectable switching frequency of 1.2MHz or 3MHz. The soft-start and current control functions have been further improved, with a typical soft-start time of 0.3ms. During standby mode, all internal circuits are shut down, reducing current consumption to a maximum of 1.0μA.
The components are available in USP-6C, SOT-89-5, LGA-8B01, and SOT-25 packages.
